The waitlist section below is a commitment. The rest of this document is still a placeholder describing the scaffold as built, and will be replaced before anything else here is one.

What the site stores

One value, in your browser’s localStorage, under the key sq-theme. It holds your light or dark preference so the page does not repaint on the next load. It is written only if you use the theme toggle, it clears itself when your choice matches your operating system’s, and it is never sent anywhere.

What the site collects

There is no analytics script, no tag manager and no tracking cookie. The alpha waitlist is the one thing on this site that asks you for anything, and the section below states what it holds.

The waitlist

The alpha waitlist form is live on the home page, and this section states what joining it means.

What it holds

One row per person, holding at most five things:

  • your email address
  • the stack you told us you are building on, if you answered
  • the use case you told us you are building, if you answered
  • the referral source, meaning how you arrived at the signup
  • the signup timestamp

Signing up asks for your email address and nothing else. The two questions after it are optional, and skipping them leaves you on the list without them.

Lawful basis

Consent, which you give by submitting the form. There is no other basis claimed for this data, and you can withdraw it at any time by asking to be removed.

Who processes it

Cloudflare, Inc. The form is handled by a Cloudflare Pages Function and the row is written to a Cloudflare D1 database, both inside the same account that serves this site. No email service provider, analytics vendor or CRM receives it. If that changes, this section names the new processor before the change ships.

How long it is kept

24 months from signup, after which the row is deleted. A row is deleted sooner if you ask for it, or if the alpha programme is abandoned.

How to be removed

Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with, and the row is deleted. No reason is needed and nothing is sent to you first. Email is the route because nothing sends to this list yet; once something does, removal becomes a link, and this paragraph will say so.

Third parties

Pages are served as static files from Cloudflare Pages, which keeps its own request logs as any host does. Fonts are self-hosted and subset, so no request leaves for a font CDN. No image, script or stylesheet is loaded from another origin.

Contact

Once this page stops being a placeholder, it will name a way to reach us about the sections above. Removal from the waitlist has its own route, stated there.
